Do candidates have to speak a foreign language? |

While we do provide some basic language training, our teachers do not need to be conversant in their host countries' language. Students and administrators have a basic level of English and help our teachers get around. |

What kind of teaching qualifications are needed? |

No formal background in teaching is required because we provide comprehensive training. However, some prior teaching experience is extremely helpful. |

Do candidates need to raise support? |
|
|
Most of our candidates raise support to cover the financial needs associated with going overseas. We are able to keep support needs relatively low because we negotiate contracts with host schools that provide our teachers with housing and a living stipend that is comparable to the salary of a local teacher. |

Is teaching English your only program? |
|
|
We also offer programs teaching Business and K-12. Physical and occupational therapists may be interested in our program instructing staff at a physical rehabilitation center in China. |
