Doors of opportunity are wide open for people who desire to serve God overseas
through teaching conversational English. With TeachOverseas, you can develop genuine
friendships and have life-changing conversations with students and colleagues in your
host country.
TeachOverseas has developed an excellent international reputation and
sets up contracts with host schools in 10 different countries. We train you
send you, support you and offer you a community of like-minded Christians.
We are a volunteer organization. Our teachers raise a modest amount of
financial support to offset the costs of the program. Housing and a living
stipend are provided.
Our core qualifications are that you are committed Christian, a fluent English speaker,
and a citizen of the US or Canada. You should be at least 18 years old for summer
programs. For year-long programs, you should have an undergraduate college degree
in any major. Business and K-12 positions require additional experience.
Serving God overseas is an incredible, life-changing journey. We are especially looking
